We tried, but the deal SN is offering us is not doable. It could cost me money and work. I guess they aren't that interested in Ellen's return. It's okay.... there will be other roles.

I wanted to give you the heads up now. Don't think Ellen will be back.

It will probably be official on Friday.

Damn! So sorry it didn't work out. Maybe next year, since we know there's a fourth season. I'd rather not see Ellen at all than have them put someone else in the role. The people in charge may not be that interested in Ellen, but the fans are!

Oh no, that's bad news. Kripke said in an interview that Ellen would be back in the season finale, but obviously they didnt want her back enough to make it worth your while, this time around anyway. Damn.

Okay, that totally sucks. I'm so sick of little girls who think they're so hot and can't act thier way out of a paper bag. I was looking forward to seeing Ellen back again. I just don't understand the mindset of the entertainment biz-- people are getting older, the baby boomers are the biggest group around, and we're the ones getting shunted off to the side.

And heck--- you're a lovely woman. I just don't get it.

Oh, Sam, I am sooooooo sorry to hear that! I wish I knew who the hell at the CW to b*tch-slap some sense into. We'll miss you SO much. Ellen has class and moxie and a maturity and just plain *reality* that is a joy to see. You created her into someone I felt I knew, had met on the road in some dusty town in my travels. This so sucks.

But. I know you have to take care of yourself, and your previous blod did sound like you have other work coming. So here's to you staying busy and paid, lol! We'll miss you/Ellen terribly, but maybe there's hope for Season 4, yes?

Now this just down right sucks to here! As much as I do love Supernautral I'm really starting to lose faith in Kripke. Season 1 and 2 where just beyond great...season 3...well I'll be nice.
I hate that we are not going to get to see Ellen this season. I know it would have been the pick me up the show need.

I have no idea what it is with the powers that be up there. It seems like everyone that can act on that show ends up Dead or just plain gone! I am so sorry it was nice to have someone mature on there. Not good, not good at all! I am really not happy with the direction they are taking. It makes me fear now for Jim. I hope they come to their senses and realize not all of us are very young and do love the age ranges in actors. If I want to see all young actors I will tune into One Tree Hill. That sucks! Makes me angry they weren't willing to give you a better deal, "Ellen" is a kickass character and the fans are dying have her back. I understand why you can't do it though, you've got to look out for yourself.

Should we give up on Ellen because things might not work for the end of this season ??? I sure won't. I still want to believe that Kripke and Team can manage to find a way to get you back in there and eventually give Ellen a proper goodbye.
Not meaning to bring bad omen, but apparently recuring character die at their 3rd big appearance (Gordon and Hendricksen). If we consider the roadhouse act as one appearance, S2 finale as the 2d... Ellen's next one could very well be her last :( I hate that they do that. I really want Ellen to be there and have a meaning, a proper part...
Above all I finally want to see some proper female acting!!! Sure the guests actors are good... but we need a strong supporting female character, played by a good & strong actress... YOU !!!
I miss seeing you Sam... Guess it makes my Orlando-Eyecon trip more worth than it already was. Can't wait... 1 month...

You should know that the fans want Ellen back in the worse way. You play her so awesome, she's such a tough cookie. Also, she's the mother figure of sorts to Sam and Dean, they need that. I'm really bummed but hopefully next season they'll get their **** together.

Well that sucks. I've got to say I'm a little disappointed in the producers (or whoever makes the decisions) for not taking better care of you and the character. I think the show will suffer for it. But here's hoping season 4 gets Ellen back in the thick of things.
